Reader              We gather in the name of our God –
the God who is love.
ALL  WE GATHER IN THE NAME OF THE ONE WHO CALLED ALL THINGS INTO BEING;
WHOSE GLORY AND DELIGHT IS IN HUMAN BEINGS FULLY ALIVE.
 
Reader We gather in the name of Jesus –
whose life witnessed to the infinite love of God.
ALL WE GATHER WITH THE ONE WHOSE LOVE POURED OUT IN HEALING –
IN WORDS AND STORIES
THAT BROUGHT PEOPLE TO LIFE
LIFE IN ALL ITS FULLNESS.
 
Reader We gather in the name of the Spirit –
poured from the love of the Father and the Son.
ALL WE GATHER IN THE LIFE AND LOVE OF THE SPIRIT,

If prayed in the evening, the liturgy/ Hour could close with the psalm for Night Prayer (87/88), Nunc Dimittis, etc. Alternatively, Psalm 129/130, Out of the Depths could be used.
