Many  thanks to Fr Francis from Australia who contacted us to say that this is called the Red Madonna
and comes from Papua New Guinea.
It was painted by a religious Sister of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Mary
and the model used is from the Morobe Province of PNG.
